Snoop Dogg is proving that nothing is too extravagant when it comes to his daughter, Cori Broadus.
The West Coast rap legend revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that he gave Cori a $1 million gift ahead of her wedding to Wayne Duece, creative director at Death Row Records.
The father-daughter duo appeared on the show to promote their new reality series, Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story, and shared heartwarming and hilarious moments. While discussing the gift, Snoop joked that if it were his wedding, he’d spend $100,000 on the ceremony and keep the other $900,000 for himself.
Snoop is no stranger to giving lavish gifts to his youngest child. He reflected on once surprising Cori with a Mercedes G-Wagon for her 16th birthday, a gift that his wife, Shante Broadus, temporarily revoked. However, the million-dollar gift remains untouched as Cori and her fiancé focus on planning their wedding, a journey captured in the upcoming series.
The E! show, premiering December 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, offers a glimpse into Cori and Wayne’s lives as they plan their dream wedding in just four months. In the trailer, Cori shares her ambitious vision, which includes booking Justin Bieber to perform at the event. Snoop’s response, delivered with his signature humor, is a sharp reality check: “You got too many goddamn dreams!”
Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story also reintroduces fans to Cori as an adult, years after her appearances as a teenager on Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood in the late 2000s. Now, viewers will see Cori’s journey into adulthood and married life as she and Wayne navigate love, family, and the pressures of creating a memorable wedding. Episodes will be available for streaming the following day on Peacock.
