Martin Lawrence to Foot the Bill for Daughter Jasmin and Eddie Murphy’s Son Eric’s Wedding [Video]

Martin Lawrence will be in charge of paying for the wedding day of his daughter and Eddie Murphy’s son.

The comedian revealed during an appearance on the Thursday, December 5th episode of Big Boy’s Neighborhood that Murphy told him it’s his turn to foot the bill for the wedding since Murphy has already paid for many of his other children’s celebrations.

“Well, Eddie said I gotta pay for it. He said I gotta pay for it ’cause he paid for his last daughter’s wedding, like the last six weddings. He said it’s my turn now,” Martin explained, humorously accepting the responsibility.

Eddie Murphy, who has 10 children from various relationships, including daughters Izzy and Max with current wife Paige Butcher, has already paid for the weddings of his other kids, such as Bria, Shayne, and Zola. Martin, meanwhile, has three daughters, including Jasmin, who is engaged to Eddie’s son, Eric.

Though Big Boy joked that the previous weddings had no bearing on Martin’s situation, Martin said he didn’t mind covering the cost.

Jasmin and Eric got engaged on November 27th, with Eric proposing in a room filled with candles and roses. The couple is yet to set a wedding date.
