Comedian Lil Duval has sparked controversy with his recent comments about actor Jonathan Majors. Duval recently took to social media to speak out against the scrutiny Majors have faced following his assault and harassment lawsuit. In the post, Duval shared a photo of himself alongside Majors and called for women to extend an apology to the actor.
“I know y’all ladies don’t wanna admit it, but y’all women owe bruh an apology,” Duval wrote in the caption. “Lost all his big deals cuz y’all ran with the wrong narrative. And the sad part is, y’all gon do it again to the next man that get accused by something. Without no real proof.”
Duval’s comments come just months after Majors was hit with a whirlwind of criticism over allegations regarding his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Earlier this year, Majors was found guilty of assault and harassment. As a result, he was sentenced to one year of participation in a domestic violence treatment program. He was also ordered to continue his mental health counseling and maintain no-contact with Jabbari.
However, Majors was acquitted of misdemeanor assault in the third degree and misdemeanor aggravated harassment in the second degree. charges. Amidst the ongoing legal drama, Majors have found light in the darkness through his now-fiancée, actress Meagan Good. The couple recently got engaged during their trip to Paris, where Majors asked the big question in front of Good’s father.
