President-elect Donald Trump is making waves with a bold promise to attract massive investments into the U.S. economy. On Tuesday, Trump announced on Truth Social that companies or individuals committing $1 billion or more to projects in the United States would receive expedited approvals and permits.
“Any person or company investing ONE BILLION DOLLARS, OR MORE, in the United States of America, will receive fully expedited approvals and permits, including, but in no way limited to, all Environmental approvals,” Trump posted, adding enthusiastically, “GET READY TO ROCK!!!”
While Trump did not elaborate on how the process would work, the statement suggests anything has a price in the United States of America.
