Young Thug just got a little break.
Back in October, he walked out of prison on a plea deal, but with 15 years of probation and a long list of rules, including a strict 10-year ban from the Atlanta area.
However, on Monday, he asked the court to modify the terms, citing the need for family gatherings and business reasons.
In a new ruling announced on Wednesday, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker stated that Williams will be allowed to visit his Atlanta home starting on October 31, 2027. However, these visits will be limited to four times a year, each lasting up to two weeks at a time and must be non-consecutive. This allowance is contingent upon his compliance with probation terms and avoiding any violations. Williams must notify probation officers at least five days in advance of any visit. Once he clears three years, Thug can spend up to eight weeks a year at his Atlanta spot.
The conditions are that he can spend no more than two weeks at a time, and the visits can’t be back-to-back.
It’s not everything he asked, but for Thug, it’s a step in the right direction.
