Beyonce just received her first-ever country music award at the Billboard Music Awards, winning Top Female Country Artist for her genre-blending album Cowboy Carter.
This is her 17th career Billboard win, adding to her already legendary status in music.
Her win is especially sweet after being snubbed at the Country Music Association Awards.
Fans have been very vocal about the snub, but the Queen Bey isn’t bothered because she’s still out here making history.
The Renaissance artist is already the most decorated Grammy winner of all time, with 32 trophies, and now she’s racking up nominations for her new country-inspired album.
She scored 11 nominations at the 2025 Grammys, including first-time nods in the country and American roots categories.
Tracks like “Texas Hold ’Em” and “16 Carriages” are pushing boundaries and proving Beyoncé’s place in the country music conversation.
While the CMA Awards might have missed the mark, Billboard clearly are fans of the Beyhive.
