Rapper T.I. has filed a defamation lawsuit against Sabrina Peterson, escalating their long-standing public feud.
The lawsuit follows Peterson’s explosive claims that T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, engaged in drugging and sexually abusing women, allegations the couple has repeatedly denied. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, T.I. alleges Peterson initiated a defamation campaign after they ended their personal and professional ties, citing her as a negative influence. He claims Peterson retaliated with “false and damaging” social media statements.
Peterson first gained attention in 2021 by accusing T.I. of holding a gun to her head during an altercation years earlier. She later broadened her allegations, accusing the couple of drugging and sexually assaulting multiple women. While these claims fueled public outrage and legal scrutiny, no criminal charges have been filed.
In his lawsuit, T.I. denies the allegations, calling them “baseless and defamatory.” He accuses Peterson of exploiting social media to spread falsehoods and harass him and his family. T.I. also claims she has a history of targeting others with similar accusations, alleging that some have sought legal protection against her.
The Harrises, who have faced significant reputational damage, remain steadfast in denying wrongdoing.
“We vehemently deny all these appalling allegations. These are nothing more than salacious, fabricated stories,” T.I. said in a 2021 statement. Peterson has not commented on the lawsuit but has previously stood by her accusations.
