Former NFL star Eric Moulds is facing serious accusations of knowingly spreading sexually transmitted diseases, particularly herpes.
According to a lawsuit filed on December 10th, Moulds infected multiple women with STDs. One New York woman alleges that Moulds specifically targeted single mothers from WNY who were Buffalo Bills fans. According to Jane Doe, their relationship began with Moulds offering to train her. But what followed was an evolution into a “long-term romantic relationship” in 2023. In a shocking twist, the woman claims that during an all-expenses-paid trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, Moulds never disclosed he had herpes simplex virus Type 2, a detail she only learned through his fiancée.
The fiancée, pregnant and engaged to Moulds for eight years, allegedly informed Jane Doe in December 2023, warning her to get tested for STDs.
“She, along with other women whom Moulds had relationships with, had been transmitted diseases by him,” the lawsuit claims.
Tests confirmed that Doe, too, had contracted the virus. She uncovered that other women had sued Moulds over a decade ago for similar accusations. All were single mothers and Bills fans.
Moulds’ attorney, Frank LoTempio III, responded, stating, “We are in the process of gathering information and responding to the complaint, which we will vigorously defend. I will have more information and comments once the litigation process starts.”
The 51-year-old showcased his talents as a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills from 1996 to 2005, solidifying his reputation as one of the NFL’s elite. Following his impressive run in Buffalo, “E-Money” spent the 2006 season with the Houston Texans before wrapping up his career with the Tennessee Titans in 2007.
