On Thursday, Williams was seen in the crowd wearing a sparkly low-cut dress that was paired with black boots and a “W” necklace. She was joined by her sister Wanda and father, Thomas. The media personality was engaging, appearing alert, and even shed tears over her son’s achievement. In photos after the event, she was seen riding on a customized motorized scooter that featured a Louis Vuitton monogrammed cup holder and a Chanel-themed front pouch.

Now 24 years old, Kevin Jr. is the only child of Williams and her ex-husband Kevin Hunter. The former couple welcomed their son in August 2000 and officially divorced 20 years later in 2020. Their split came after news broke about Kevin fathering another child outside of their marriage with another woman. At the time, Kevin did publicly apologize for the situation.
Nonetheless, outside of her public appearance, Williams has been dealing with a host of career and health battles. In June 2022, her beloved talk show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” was canceled amid her ongoing struggle with Graves disease. She later received a diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
Two years later, Kevin Jr. found himself back in the headlines after sharing his concerns for his mother’s health in the documentary, “Where Is Wendy Williams?” The film highlighted Williams’ life following her diagnosis and her fight to manage her health.
“My mom always talks about how she wants to work, but I feel as though she’s worked enough,” Kevin Jr. said in the doc.
