Lil Baby recently spoke candidly about an eye-opening experience during an appearance on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast. The Atlanta rapper revealed that he lost $8 million in one day while gambling during an extended casino visit. The session lasted close to 40 hours and marked a turning point for the 30-year-old artist, who decided to stop gambling entirely.

“I made myself stop gambling,” Lil Baby said, explaining that he took a proactive approach to help him stay away from casinos. He enlisted Fanatics CEO Mike Rubin to send a letter banning him from entering any casino, a decision he says has helped him move forward.

The story quickly gained traction, with fans and fellow artists weighing in. Rap veteran 50 Cent shared the clip on Instagram, adding his thoughts with a touch of humor. “I thought only Floyd [Mayweather] did stuff like that,” 50 wrote. “Glad he’s okay, though.”

Despite the setback, Lil Baby remains focused on his music and future projects. He recently announced his upcoming album, WHAM (Who Hard as Me), which is set to release on January 3. The album will feature collaborations with artists like Future, GloRilla, and Travis Scott, solidifying his position as one of the industry’s most consistent stars.
