Tyrese is ready to say “I do” again—but there’s one thing holding him back.
During an IG Live session, his girlfriend, Zelie Timothy, playfully called him out, accusing him of not wanting to marry her.
”He doesn’t want to marry me,” She stated in response to a viewer’s comment.
“That’s not true, Babe,” Tyrese replied. “I’m just waiting on my divorce to be finalized so I can get into this new paperwork.” He explained further: “You can’t get into no new paperwork until the old paper is done.”
The exchange was lighthearted, with Tyrese and Zelie exchanging “I love yous” as she sipped tequila. Tyrese even referred to them as “The Gibsons” while wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
The couple has been together since 2021, though Tyrese is still tied up in court battling his ex-wife over their divorce.
It looks like once the old chapter is officially closed, Tyrese is ready to move forward with a new one!
