Teedra Moses has recently found herself in controversy after publicly praising R. Kelly despite his convictions related to child sex crimes. The situation unfolded after Moses joined the ‘R&B Money‘ podcast. During her visit, Moses named Kelly’s “The Greatest Sex” 2000 track one of the top five best R&B songs ever while speaking with hosts Tank and J. Valentine.
“You can close your eyes and see everything he’s saying,” Moses said before crowing Kelly as “one of the greatest songwriters to ever live.”
However, not everybody shared the same opinions about the incarcerated singer. Following the release of the episode, many social media users were displeased with Moses’ comments and took the time to call her out. In particular, one X (formerly known as Twitter) user explained that Moses’s remarks were disturbing due to Kelly allegedly making sexual music for kids.
“I sincerely would like to say f*ck her,” the user wrote. “How many times we have to REPEAT that Robert Kelly was writing songs about having s*x with TEENAGERS & the reason why its so visual is bc its teaching kids how to f**k.”

A few days later, Moses caught wind of the comment and decided to choose violence as a respond. In a snappy post, Moses responded to the user, stating, “F**k u u ugly bi**h and I ain’t blocking you cuz I got time in the new yr to bless u with these words!!! You don’t know me! But those that do know what I’m about. Go play with ya support dog bi**h don’t play with me! Coming on this app w dat bullsh*t. I will slap piss from u!!”
Shortly after, the user shot back with a clarification, explaining that since Moses said “oh i love r kelly i don’t care,” it’s the same thing as saying , “i love niggas who rape and fuck kids and i don’t care.” But, of course, Moses has something to say back and stated that she sympathizes with the victims but also believe that Kelly “had mad amazing art.”
“That’s what u are saying. I’m not the person u can put words in their [mouth]. I like R. Kelly music. He had mad amazing art like many other horrible charactered ppl. Go start your bullshit with a b*tch that don’t stand 10 toes on who she is. I have compassion for all victims,” she added.
