50 Cent is unbothered by the recent poor review of his Las Vegas residency.

The rapper’s performance has stirred both praise and criticism in the entertainment capital. One recent critique from prominent Las Vegas reviewer Jennifer Gay labeled the show as one of the worst in the city’s history, citing issues with the sound quality that detracted from the overall experience.

Responding to the backlash, 50 Cent addressed the criticism during a live performance, humorously calling out the critic for expecting his show to match the high-energy spectacles of artists like Usher and Chris Brown.

“I seen some s**t…Chris Brown was flying in Africa. I don’t have records that require me to fly in Africa,” he remarked, emphasizing that his music speaks for itself. He also poked fun at his own style, joking that he might overuse his signature hand wave during shows, which amused the crowd, who joined him in doing the move.

Following Gay’s criticism, 50’s rival, Ja Rule, even chimed in, reposting the review on Twitter with the caption, “Not the worst…#ICONN.”

He also reposted a tweet from a fan who claimed Rule’s music “aged better” than 50’s catalog.

“I approve this message,” Rule added.

In light of the criticism, it’s clear 50 Cent is staying true to his persona and remains adored by his die-hard fans.
