RHOSLC Star Jen Shah's Sentence to Be Reduced By One Year

Jennifer Shah, RHSLC

Jen Shah, the former star of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, is now scheduled to be released from Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas on November 3, 2026. This marks the third reduction in her prison sentence, as confirmed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate database.

With the new release date, Shah will be able to celebrate Thanksgiving in 2026 at home with her family, Page Six reports.

The reality TV personality was originally sentenced to six and a half years in prison in January 2023 after pleading guilty to her role in a decade-long telemarketing scheme. The scam defrauded thousands of people, many of whom were elderly or otherwise vulnerable. Shah, 51, had initially pleaded not guilty but later admitted to wire fraud in court, apologizing for her actions.

“Wire fraud, offering services with little to no value. We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55. I am so sorry,” she said during her plea. Shah also acknowledged that she was fully aware her actions were “wrong and illegal.”

Shah began serving her sentence in February 2023. Just one month later, in March, her sentence was reduced by a year, marking the first adjustment. Now, with her release date set even earlier, Shah has received two additional reductions.
