Jim Jones has hit a new level of clarity while in Tokyo, revealing he hasn’t gone without smoking or drinking since the 90s.

He’s been in Japan with Ye, working on fashion and music, and credits the discipline from those projects for helping him stay sober.
In a video posted earlier this week, Jones shared his excitement: “I ain’t smoked in five days. I’ve been around here bouncing like a kid, like I’m in high school. I definitely got that high school feeling.” He also felt energized, adding, “My body ain’t feel this pure in a minute! I was in the club dancing last night for like 45 minutes straight, sweating.”
Jones also reflected on his journey in the caption, writing, “I ain’t been sober in 33 years this sh!t feel gooood can’t lie but I need tht HT soon i a land lol im addicted lol but at least I know when it’s time for business im disciplined to stop cold Turkey for Whts important Japan is n was a vibe till next time arigato.”
A possible reason for his sobriety could be Japan’s strict drug laws, which have harsh penalties for marijuana possession, likely keeping Jones extra mindful of his actions.
