McDonald’s is bringing back the Shamrock Shake on February 10 and it’s supporting a great cause.
For every Shamrock Shake sold through March 23, 25 cents will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), aiming to raise $5 million to provide 50,000 overnight stays for families with sick children.
Adding to the excitement, Uncle O’Grimacey, Grimace’s long-lost, green-clad uncle, is making his return after decades away. He’s traveling across the U.S. to spread Shamrock cheer and support RMHC’s mission to keep families together.
Fans can also get involved by shopping exclusive Uncle O’Grimacey merch, like t-shirts, crewnecks, and baseball caps, with additional proceeds benefiting RMHC. Customers can also Round-Up their orders at McDonald’s to donate directly.
McDonald’s has been a proud RMHC partner since 1974, contributing over $1 billion to support families in need. Michael Gonda, McDonald’s Chief Impact Officer, shared, “This Shamrock Shake Season, with a little extra cheer from the Grimace family, we’re reminded that the most precious gift is being close to those you love.”
