Boxing champion Claressa Shields is opening up about her relationship with Papoose and the love they have for one another.

In an Instagram Live session, the undefeated boxing star shared her appreciation for the rapper’s presence in her life, emphasizing how much his support means to her.
“I love him, I love having his support. His support is very different from what I’ve had in the past. How he speaks to me is very different,” Shields explained, highlighting the positive impact of their bond.
She continued to praise their relationship, adding, “Pap is like my best friend. I talk to him about everything. We do have a great connection and he understands me.”
Shields and Papoose’s relationship became a hot topic late last year after allegations surfaced that the rapper had been unfaithful to his wife, Remy Ma. It was the “Conceited” rapper who brought the relationship to light, leaking text message conversations between Shields and Papoose. The situation sparked heated drama online, with all three arguing and Shields even offering to fight Remy.
Despite the backlash, Shields maintained, “I pick the person who I wanna be with. The person who with me picked me, and we build off of that.”
Though Remy and Papoose are still legally married, she has also moved on with a new man, battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain.
