Top Dawg Entertainment Accused of Releasing Names of Lawsuit Jane Does, Causing Online Harrassment

Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) is facing additional allegations in a lawsuit filed by two women accusing executives of sexual harassment.

The amended version of the suit now includes accusations that TDE publicly revealed the women’s identities, a move that allegedly led to harassment and threats.

On February 1st, TDE issued a press release naming Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri, who had originally filed the suit as Jane Does. Following the release, the plaintiffs claimed to have received disturbing messages, including threats of sexual violence and death. The complaint notes that Luna was targeted with harassment both directly and through her media relations company’s social media account. Furthermore, two clients of Luna’s company severed their professional ties with her after her identity was exposed.

The women claim that the breach of their anonymity caused them significant emotional distress and financial harm. The initial lawsuit, filed in late January, accused TDE of ignoring sexual harassment and assault claims made by the two women. They assert that when they brought their complaints to management, their concerns were disregarded.

Brandon Tiffith and Anthony Tiffith Jr., both execs at TDE, are named in the suit. The allegations against Brandon include unwanted sexual advances and battery, while Anthony is accused of a repeated pattern of harassment. One plaintiff, who is a friend of a TDE artist, claims she was harassed twice by TDE employees, including being given alcohol as part of an attempt to pursue sexual advances.

TDE’s legal team, led by Marty Singer, denies the accusations, labeling the lawsuit a “shakedown” and asserting that communications exist to disprove the claims.
