Taylor Swift Faces Booing as She Appears on the Jumbo Screen During Super Bowl LIX [Video]

As Super Bowl LIX gets underway, Taylor Swift would not have missed the opportunity to witness her man Travis Kelce compete for another ring. However, football fans were less than excited to see the superstar.

Inside the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Swift was placed on the jumbo screen as she sat next to rapper Ice Spice. However, as soon as the crowd saw her face, they began to boo her excessively. The loud disdain echoed throughout the stadium, catching Swift off guard. The “Shake It Off” singer was visibly surprised as she let out a nervous laugh next to Spice, who did the same. 

It’s possible that many of the boos were aimed toward Kelce. However, Chiefs fans have long expressed their disappointment in Swift being a constant figure at games. Some believe she takes attention away from the sport. Head coach Andy Reid believes the opposite and is happy about Swift and Kelce’s romance and even extra eyes being on the franchise. 

As the Chiefs look to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, Swift’s presence is certainly a main event at the Big Game. Jay-Z, Blue Ivy, and Rumi were also a large draw, spotted hanging out on the field ahead of the showdown.
