Former NFL cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones is standing behind Donald Trump, expressing his enthusiasm for his presidency while attending Super Bowl LIX events in New Orleans.
Wearing a MAGA hat, Jones told DailyMail.com on Saturday that he was excited for Trump’s attendance at the big game and even more thrilled about his second term in office.
“I’m excited that he’s the President, too,” Jones said at Sports Illustrated’s Super Bowl party when asked why he supports Trump. His reasoning? “Everything,” he replied, before adding, “95.9 percent of things he’s saying, I agree with.”
The only exception, Jones noted, is “the women’s rights thing”, though he did not specify which issue he was referring to. “I think that’s gonna be worked out in the coming future,” he added.
Jones also voiced his support for Trump’s trade policies, particularly tariffs on foreign goods. “Fing doing good,”** Jones said. “Hell yeah, you ain’t happy? We about to tax everybody’s motherfing a**.”**
Jones joins a list of current and former NFL players who have publicly backed Trump, including Joey Bosa, Tyreek Hill, Antonio Brown, and Le’Veon Bell.
His endorsement may come as a surprise, considering Trump’s “law-and-order” stance and Jones’ lengthy history of arrests and suspensions. Over his NFL career from 2005 to 2018, Jones was involved in multiple legal troubles, including assault, vandalism, and public intoxication.
