Draymond Green might be eyeing a future in coaching, although he’s not exactly sold on it.

During Sunday’s All-Star Game, while on a TNT broadcast, Candace Parker mentioned she wouldn’t want to take a head coach position if offered. Draymond, on the other hand, joked he’s already been offered the Golden State Warriors head coach job once he’s done playing.
“I’ve already been offered the Golden State Warriors head coaching job when I’m done. You think I’m gonna suck?” Green laughed.
When asked if he’d be a good coach, he said, “I think I could be a good coach. I don’t want to be.”
Green, now in his 13th NBA season, is nearing the end of his career. With four championships and four All-Star appearances under his belt, he could be the natural successor to Steve Kerr.
While Draymond Green isn’t ready to trade his jersey for a clipboard just yet, his future in basketball, whether as a coach or in another role, will undoubtedly be one to watch.
