Tyga Mourns the Loss of His Mother

Tyga is mourning the loss of his mother, Pasionaye Nguyen, who passed away on January 18. The rapper shared the heartbreaking news in an emotional Instagram post on Friday.

Alongside a photo of him holding his mother’s hand, Tyga expressed his devastation, writing, “I’ve been trying to understand and process why God takes the most meaningful and most beautiful people away from us. But I know I’ll never get an answer that will fill the emptiness in my heart.”

He described his mother as the most supportive person in his life, someone who lifted him up in his lowest moments. “I would trade anything just to be able to be with you again. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, and I can’t wait for the day until we’re together again. Save me a spot right next to you in paradise.”

While no official cause of death has been revealed, Tyga’s post suggests that his mother had been battling an illness. He ended his tribute by promising to honor her memory every day.

“You took one of your best angels back, GOD. I hope you know that.”
