Jim Jones Says He Wants a "Chance to Be at the White House" After Rap Peers Are Seen Mingling with Trump

Jim Jones is sticking beside rappers who have been mixing and mingling with Donald Trump.

Despite the backlash some artists face for supporting the controversial figure, the Dipset star isn’t condemning his peers.

In a recent chat with TMZ, Jones was asked about figures like Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and even Boosie Badazz attending White House events. Though many in the Black community have criticized the performers, the “We Fly High” rapper believes the situation is larger than the person in office.

“The president is still the president. It’s a race. Somebody lost the race, somebody won the race,” he explained, emphasizing his respect for the office itself.

The 48-year-old further elaborated, “I’m a kid from the projects that we known the president to be the ruler of the world when we was coming up. So I want my chance to be at the White House too, see what’s going on.” He added, “I didn’t vote for anybody… but if I got an invite – no matter who’s in office – I think I’ma pop out to go to the White House.”

While Trump’s administration has faced criticism, especially for dismantling DEI programs, it hasn’t stopped the likes of Boosie, Kodak Black, and Rod Wave from attending Black History Month events at the White House.
