Nigerian influencer Sophia Egbueje is making headlines after a leaked 40-minute phone call surfaced, where she claimed Burna Boy promised her a Lamborghini but never delivered.
In the recording, Sophia explained that she initially met Burna Boy after being encouraged by her friend Ama Reginald and Burna’s associate King Manny. She decided to entertain the idea because of Burna Boy’s reputation for spending big on women.
Sophia recounted how Ama convinced her to take Burna Boy seriously, saying:
“She is like, ‘Babe, you should take him seriously. You know it’s him that bought Stefflon Don Cullinan. He actually spends money on girls. Just try and take him seriously.”
Sophia also mentioned that after she confided in Ama about wanting a luxury watch, she later discovered Burna Boy had gifted Chloe Bailey a similar one:
“I bought my watch and knew the person that bought my watch. I don’t know if she went to tell Manny because I’m wondering why Burna bought Chloe a watch when I bought my watch.”
She further alleged that Burna Boy sold her dreams, leading her to believe he could be “one of” her “guys.”

After spending time together, Sophia confronted Burna Boy about the promised Lamborghini. According to her, he assured her that he would get the money for the car by a certain date, but he never did. Feeling disappointed, she blocked him and ended up paying for the car herself.
She also expressed frustration that Ama, who initially persuaded her to take Burna seriously, later partied with Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey instead. As a result, Sophia said she has since blocked Ama on social media.
Following the leak, Burna Boy seemingly responded by posting a shady video which featured a luxury watch and a Lamborghini. A freestyle was also posted by the Nigerian crooner sings, “I no buy Lambo, is that why you are shouting?”
