Travis Scott might’ve gotten a little too caught up in the moment at WWE’s Elimination Chamber on Saturday night.
The rapper reportedly went overboard, leaving undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes with a busted eardrum and a black eye after an unexpected beatdown.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, Rhodes’ injuries are real.
The chaos kicked off when John Cena turned a friendly embrace into a cheap shot low blow, sparking an all-out attack. Scott delivered a brutal open-handed slap to Rhodes’ ear while The Rock joined in, whipping the champ with his belt.
Now, the internet is questioning whether Travis Scott knew that wrestling is scripted.
Despite the damage, Rhodes showed up on Monday Night RAW just 48 hours later. No word yet on how this will affect his in-ring performance, but one thing’s for sure, Travis Scott made his WWE debut unforgettable.
