Baller Alert caught up with Cynthia Bailey at the NAACP Image Awards, where she dished on her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, her long-distance romance, and whether fans will see Kenya Moore back on the show.
Bailey, who recently celebrated her birthday, is focused on health, wellness, and embracing lifestyle changes. But one major change in her life? Her overseas romance. The reality star confirmed she’s dating someone from Amsterdam and opened up about what it’s like maintaining a relationship across the globe. “I am a lover of love,” she shared. “I am not trying to force anything, but I have been seeing someone who is from Europe, and it’s been great.”
TMZ recently spotted Bailey at LAX with musician LePrince, whom she confirmed she’s dating.
As for her return to RHOA, Bailey is back in a friend of the show role and is excited about the new energy. “I miss the fans, I love the girls, and I’m excited about the new blood they brought in. The girls definitely bring it,” she said. She also shouted out new cast members Angela Oakley and Brittany Eady, along with longtime friend Shamea Morton, who is officially holding a peach this season.
“She gives!” Bailey said of Shamea. “She has an incredible life, and she’s dealing with so many personal issues that are super relatable. Watching the way she balances everything is really powerful.”
However, one familiar face isn’t in the mix this season—Kenya Moore. Addressing Kenya’s absence from the trailer, Bailey called the situation “unfortunate” and made it clear she’ll always support her. “I will always hold Kenya up in the highest regard. She’s amazing TV, she’s an amazing mom, and I hope at some point she’ll be back.”
Beyond RHOA, Bailey has been exploring other opportunities, including a recent appearance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. When asked if she’d ever consider joining the franchise, she left the door open but made it clear that her heart belongs to Atlanta. “I split my time between here and Atlanta, but Bailey is in Atlanta—that’s where my heart is.”
She also revealed that she’s launched an exciting new podcast with RHOBH’s Crystal Kung Minkoff, where they discuss hot topics, life experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments from Housewives history.
