Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has dropped a new record with Diddy and his daughter, North West, despite opposition from his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

The track, titled “LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE,” debuted on West’s Twitter account on Saturday and features the embattled mogul, his son Christian “King” Combs, and West’s daughter North.
The song opens with Diddy expressing his gratitude to Kanye, stating, “No one else has reached out to me while I remain in jail awaiting trial.” Kanye responds, calling Diddy a father figure, even before they knew each other personally. North makes a brief but noticeable appearance, rapping, “When you see me shining, then you see the light,” while Christian Combs delivers his verse.
Sources claim that Kardashian tried to prevent the song’s release, even sending cease-and-desist letters after learning of North’s involvement. TMZ reports that Kardashian was particularly concerned about Diddy’s legal troubles, as he faces federal sex trafficking allegations. Despite this, Ye reportedly posted and deleted a text exchange with Kardashian before the release, hinting at an escalating conflict: “We’re going to war.”
The song’s release comes after Kanye announced the revival of his Sunday Service gospel choir, with auditions for singers, including children as young as five. However, Ye added a new requirement: a uniform look, including shaved heads for those officially joining the choir.
