Jonathan Majors is crediting fiancée Meagan Good and her family for helping him navigate his personal and professional struggles. In a new interview with Extra’s Terri Seymour, the Magazine Dreams star opened up about how Good has been his rock through it all.

“Meagan, my family, my incoming in-laws — it’s really been great,” Majors shared. “I’m not from here. I came out here for her, so we could try this thing out and try to do this thing… in the midst of all of it. And her family just… Come on, you know, we love her. She loves you. Come on.”
The actor, who has faced serious legal troubles and industry fallout in the past year, did not hold back when expressing his gratitude. “That support is just… I mean it. And it kept me alive. There’s no hyperbole there. It kept me alive,” he said.
Majors’ comments come as he attempts to rebuild his image following his December 2023 conviction for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. A Manhattan jury found him guilty of one misdemeanor assault charge and one harassment violation after a highly publicized trial. He was sentenced in April 2024 to a 52-week in-person domestic violence program in Los Angeles and was issued an order of protection for Jabbari.
In addition to his criminal conviction, Majors also faced a defamation and assault lawsuit from Jabbari, which accused him of battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and malicious prosecution. The case was settled in November 2024. However, this week, Rolling Stone published a resurfaced audio recording in which Majors allegedly admits to strangling Jabbari and pushing her against a car. The tape was reportedly captured after a separate days-long fight between the former couple in 2022.
Despite the renewed scrutiny, Majors is pushing forward with his career and personal life. “When I say the three things I care about most in life are God, family, and art… that’s all I need. That’s all I need. And Meagan is… Meagan is the champion of that,” he said.
As for their upcoming wedding, Majors had nothing but praise for his bride-to-be: “She is going to be the most beautiful bride,” he added.
