As NBA teams, prepare for postseason basketball there are a lot of players that rest and nurse injuries to make sure they’re 100% by April. This opens up opportunities for the younger players and role players to continue to find a rhythm and potentially show the front offices what they can do.

With seven players out for the Los Angeles Lakers last night, LeBron James Jr. was able to show his value against the Milwaukee Bucks posting a career-high in points. Scoring 17 points, shooting 70% from the field. Pairing these points with five assists and three rebounds James Jr. has shown professionalism throughout the season as he continues to acclimate into the system.

ESPN’s Stephen A Smith spoke about the impressive performance and gave Bronny his just due for his performance last night.

“Ball handling skills, getting to the basket, finishing at the basket, pulling up for jumpers, hitting a three, 17 points seven or ten shooting from the field I was impressed,” Smith said.

This performance came in a game where James Jr. played thirty minutes at a career-high and he took advantage of every minute he was on the floor. His second game since February with double-digit minutes. It will be an interesting few weeks to see if Bronny will carve out minutes within the playoff rotation.
