Sexyy Red believes she’s the “most hated female rapper” in the industry. During a recent conversation with Big Boy, she hinted at underlying tensions and subtle shade that led her to this conclusion.

“I feel like I’m the most hated female rapper. Like, they hate on me the most. I get a lot of love, but I know when they be hating on me. They be hating on me. It be like little inside s**t,” she shared. Though she didn’t dive deeper into specifics, Sexyy feels the weight of this negativity is massive, possibly orchestrated by those in power.

“They trying to put me down. I be feeling like, ‘Is y’all sending people to comment under here?'” she questioned. “I feel like it’s some hidden agendas…It could be labels…I just be feeling like they don’t like seeing me win.”

Known for her party anthems like “Get It Sexyy,” “Bow Bow Bow,” and “SkeeYee,” Sexyy has faced criticism over her explicit lyrics and self-proclaimed “ratchet” persona. Despite the backlash, the St. Louis star remains committed to her authenticity, racking up gold and platinum plaques for her music, even if others find it controversial.
