Lil Meech is addressing Michael Rainey Jr.’s recent remarks that made waves on social media.
It started when Rainey Jr., who stars as Tariq on Power Book II: Ghost, went on Instagram Live and responded to a fan who asked if he felt bad for Lil Meech and his father, Big Meech. Rainey didn’t hold back, saying, “Do I feel bad for Lil Meech? I don’t feel bad for no grown man on this planet… You a grown man too, n****. What you asking for my sympathy for?”

The comments quickly spread online, leading Lil Meech to offer a short response in the comment section of a reposted clip. “He got my name in his mouth more than his he,” he wrote. He also shared a video on his Instagram Story that appeared to show Rainey talking, captioning it: “This lil n*** be talking to his self 😂😂😂 BOY SHUT THE F*** UP @michaelraineyjr.”
While Rainey hasn’t responded to Meech directly, 50 Cent joined the conversation by reposting the original Live and adding his own reaction: “You’ll B alright 👀 Ho3 a** 🥷🏾 LOL 😆 @michaelraineyjr Nah this sh*t funny.”
The interaction comes as tension between 50 Cent and Big Meech continues to make headlines. Meech’s attempt to partner with Rick Ross for a concert earlier this year—someone who has clashed with 50 Cent in the past—reportedly added strain to their relationship.
