Dame Dash is once again in legal trouble and might have to pay big money.

The movie and music producer is facing a significant financial blow after being hit with a $4 million default judgment in a defamation lawsuit filed by Josh Webber.

Webber sued Dash in April 2024, claiming that defamatory comments made by Dame on the “Earn Your Leisure” podcast led to him losing a $4 million producing and directing job. During the show, Dash allegedly stated, “I had a judgment. And I knew this dickhead Chris Brown and Josh Webber and Muddy Waters… What I lost was defamation because these guys trigger me and steal my s**t, you think there is freedom of speech, it’s really not.”

These comments were related to their ongoing legal dispute over the movie “Dear Frank,” which had already led to Dash being ordered to pay Webber and the movie’s producers over $800,000.

According to Webber’s lawsuit, the podcast episode, which amassed hundreds of thousands of views, directly contributed to the cancellation of the lucrative gig. He claims the production company cited Dash’s accusations of theft as the reason for pulling the job.

Dash has yet to respond publicly to this latest financial blow.
