Desiigner Welcomes Baby Boy with Joyce Bryant

Brooklyn rapper Desiigner is stepping into a new role—fatherhood.

On Monday, the “Panda” hitmaker took to Instagram to announce that he and his partner, Joyce Bryant, have officially welcomed their baby boy. The couple initially shared their baby news last November in a gender reveal celebration surrounded by family and friends.

The moment marks a personal milestone for the 26-year-old artist, whose last year was filled with public scrutiny. Back in April 2023, Desiigner was arrested and charged with indecent exposure after an incident on a flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis. He later opened up about the situation during an episode of No Jumper, attributing his behavior to being in a fragile mental and physical state.

“I didn’t know what I was doing,” he said. “This was when I was vegan; I didn’t have enough sugars and stuff like that… I was kind of out of my body. It really wasn’t who my character was. I was on medication and just went to sleep on the plane.”

Though he was not required to register as a sex offender, Desiigner was fined $5,000 and placed on two years of probation.

Now, with the birth of his son, Desiigner appears to be shifting focus to family and a fresh start. While he hasn’t shared the baby’s name yet, fans have been flooding his comment section with congratulations and well wishes.
