Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has officially tied the knot. The 26-year-old NFL star confirmed he and longtime partner Bryonna “Bry” Burrows are married, sharing the news in his Men’s Health cover story for the May/June 2025 issue.
During his interview with the magazine, Hurts revealed that by the time the issue was published, “You can call her my wife.” He also shared a personal note from Burrows that he carried in his pocket, written on a pink Post-It: “You are exactly where you are supposed to be. I love you. Follow God! I follow you.”
The couple first made their engagement public in September 2024 in an Essence feature accompanied by photos from a beachside proposal. In the photos, the two were dressed in white, surrounded by candles with a violinist playing in the background. One image captured the couple holding hands and smiling, while another showed them embracing as Burrows showed off her engagement ring.
Hurts and Burrows have largely kept their relationship private, though they were first linked publicly in January 2023 when Burrows joined Hurts on the field after the Eagles’ NFC Championship win. At the time, Hurts described their connection as serious, telling Essence in April 2023 that he was “spoken for.”
Since then, Burrows has been seen supporting Hurts at several Eagles games, including the team’s 2024 season opener and Super Bowl LIX in February 2025, where the Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs. The two shared a kiss on the field after the game, capping off a historic night that included Hurts being named Super Bowl MVP.
The pair met during their time at the University of Alabama, where Hurts starred as quarterback and Burrows was active in academics and leadership. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and MBA from the university and was part of the school’s MBA Case Team, contributing to a 2019 SEC Championship win. Burrows is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., while Hurts is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Before making their relationship public, the couple dated on and off through college and post-graduation. Most recently, Burrows worked in tech as an artificial intelligence partner for IBM.
The Hurts-Burrows union has remained largely low-key, but their recent dinner appearances and Hurts’ confirmation have made it clear—they are officially husband and wife.
