Gizelle Bryant says her “Real Housewives of Potomac” co-star Karen Huger is thriving in prison after her DUI sentence.
“From what I understand, they love her up in where she is right now. They absolutely love her. They are loving the Grande Dame! And you know she’s running that thing,” Bryant told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
“I feel very good about the fact that she’s safe,” she added.
Andy also asked if she spoke with Karen’s husband, Ray Huger. “Yes,” Gizelle said. “And Ray is still adjusting.”
Karen was sentenced after a DUI conviction stemming from a high-speed Maserati crash in early 2024. She is scheduled to be released in November 2025. Her sentence also includes five years of supervised probation with an ignition interlock device. Additionally, Huger faces a one-year driving ban after her release. It’s unclear if she will return to “Real Housewives of Potomac.”
Looks like even prison can’t dim the Dame’s spotlight.
