Chipotle is turning Cinco de Mayo into a food fest with a side of gaming.
The chain is dropping $1 million worth of free food and launching a new digital game called Ingredient Quest on Roblox.
Starting May 5, players can hop into Chipotle’s Burrito Builder on Roblox, collect virtual ingredient cards, and stack up Burrito Bucks. First 50,000 people to snag all 53 ingredient cards will receive a free burrito in real life.
Chipotle said this one’s for the Gen Z crew who love card packs and rare finds: “Inspired by the generation’s love for nostalgic collectibles, the experience taps into the thrill of opening ‘card packs’ and celebrating rare ’pulls.’”
If you’re not into gaming, no worries. From May 3–5, use CINCO25 on the Chipotle app, Chipotle.com and Chipotle.ca app or site to get free chips and Queso Blanco. And from May 1–5, type in DELIVER for free delivery.
