Misa Hylton’s lawyer says the $5 million lawsuit with Vado is not what caused the fallout between Misa and Mary J. Blige.
In a recent chat with Lauren Lorosa from the Breakfast Club, Misa’s attorney cleared it up, saying they actually tried to handle everything privately and peacefully, but Mary cut off all communication.

“It’s very unfortunate that this had to go down like this because Misa tried everything to amicably resolve the issue with Mary directly with Mary’s camp. But unbeknownst to us why Mary J. Blige and her camp completely cut off Mrs. Hylton.”
He added, “Misa is confused.”
He says they didn’t want this in the blogs and definitely didn’t expect it to play out in public. The lawyer even claims he reached out to Mary’s legal team and got zero response.
At the end of the day, it’s not about money. Misa’s reportedly more hurt by the friendship ending than anything else.
He said, “It’s like all of a sudden you have a sister you been with forever and 40 years later all of a sudden your sister stops talking to you and you don’t know why.”
