The latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta brought the drama and Angela Oakley wasn’t having it.
After a messy end to the Nashville cast trip, she returned home and filled in her husband, former NBA star Charles Oakley, on what went down.
Angela revealed that Charles was the topic of gossip among Porsha Williams, Brit Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Shamea Morton.
“Let me tell you what all [Porsha] had to say about you, like you’re just so easy to f—. Anybody she f— Charles. She could f— you.”
Charles casually brushed it off, replying, “Well, no, she can’t,” before asking if Angela believed it.
“No!” she said. “So, I said, ‘Hey, Porsha, I hear you talking about me, talking about my husband. You got anything to say?’ And she politely gets her ass the f— up out of there because it got real, real fast. I’m about to go to war.”
Charles laughed and encouraged her to go for it as long as he had a front-row seat.
Later, at Cynthia Bailey’s Juneteenth celebration, tension resurfaced during a prophetic reading. When the prophet asked if anyone drove a Porsche, Angela said Charles had his eye on one. Shamea jumped in with, “He’s got an eye on a Porsche, right? Not Porsha?” Angela stayed silent, but the shade didn’t go unnoticed.
Once the readings wrapped, Brit stirred the pot even more, telling Angela, “It sounds like you need to use that mouth more often.” Angela clapped back with, “You got miles on your mouth,” before calling Brit a “whore” and adding, “I’m married. Brit, you’re a whore.”
Brit didn’t back down, firing off, “Maybe you should be a whore in the bedroom so you can keep your man.” Things escalated quickly.
“Your husband hasn’t even acknowledged he’s been married to you for the last 10 years,” Brit said. “Does the world know about that baby?”
Kelli echoed the question: “Does the world know about that baby, though?”
Angela responded, “You better come with receipts.”
Cynthia stepped in but Porsha tried to downplay her role in the rumors: “What you walked up on was a complete after party,” she said. “So somebody brought up something, and I was like, ‘Yeah, what’s with Angela? Why does she always bring up her husband to me?’”
Angela held firm. “But you were the person who said you should f— Charles.”
Porsha denied it at first but then admitted she said it in her confessional: “It was a stupid comment. I shouldn’t have made it, or maybe I should have. I was kiki-ng with my friends. I definitely didn’t know that Dumbo was up there with her big old ears listening to everything. But since she was, I’m sorry, that was inappropriate for me to be having that much fun with my friends, Angela.”
The two eventually apologized and agreed to move on.
But based on how this season’s going, this truce may not last.
