“Why I Broke Up With My Boyfriend – He Had A Girlfriend Of 5 Years”

I was In a relationship with this guy for 2 years. We spoke every day, spent time together etc…The relationship was perfect! I was head over heels for him. He lived in a well furnished condo. I always slept over on Monday, Wednesday, Friday , because he had to work late on Tuesday, Thursday ,Saturday and Sunday (so he said). So I never suspected him of having someone else. I would leave my hair products and clothes at his house.

One day, I was at work and I received a phone call from a woman claiming to be his girlfriend of 5 years! She mentioned that he bought her an engagement ring ( he also bought me a ring) he gave us the same gifts on Valentine’s Day! She also told me that she was off work on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday… The same exact days that he told me he had to work late… He didn’t have a job, that was her place and money. He would hide my items or give them to her as gifts. “I got something for you… I already opened it though” is what he told her.

A few days after conversing with her, he called and told me everything. He said that he loved me and didn’t expect to fall in love… He only wanted sex from me but I was so nice, loving and caring that he fell in love and didn’t want to leave me. He moved to Columbus, Ga with his girlfriend of 5 years… She stayed with him. I was heartbroken for 3 years.. I felt like I would never find love until I met my boyfriend that I’m with now. He’s the best man ever! I wouldn’t trade him for anything in the world. Things happen for a reason…a lesson or a blessing.
