Former ESPN contributor Pablo Torre reported Friday morning that legendary NFL coach and current North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, had been banned from the UNC football facilities.
Torre also claimed during the latest episode of his podcast that people close to the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach were growing weary that Hudson would inevitably hurt Bill’s legacy.
This is another layer in the peculiar relationship between Hudson and Belichick, as people continue to try to find clarity between his girlfriend, who is also his PR manager. UNC released a statement debunking the report from this morning.
“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina football facilities,” a UNC athletic department representative said in a statement this morning.
“Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina football and the university.”
Bill claimed that they met on a flight in 2021 and began dating in 2023. Hudson will compete in the Miss Maine pageant starting this Sunday. She received runner-up last year. Hudson’s motives have sports fans creating a lot of narratives and rumors.
This only adds to the narrative that this relationship does not seem organic. Belichick’s first season at Carolina has been overshadowed by this relationship, and Tar Heels fans are nervous about the uncertainty of his life off the field and how that will affect the success of their season.
