Cassie is shedding more light on Diddy’s extensive and serious drug addiction.
Testifying in court, the singer detailed a disturbing 2012 incident in which the music producer overdosed on a powerful opiate after a wild series of events. According to the singer, the day began with a “freak-off” between them, followed by a trip to a sex club in San Bernardino. Later that evening, Diddy attended a party at the Playboy Mansion without her. She testified that following the event, “she helped take Diddy to the hospital, where she was told he had overdosed.”
The 38-year-old told the jury that Diddy was dependent on opiates for a time and had taken an especially strong one that caused the overdose. She further revealed the nature of their relationship, saying she and Diddy used to refer to each other as “Get High Partners.” Cassie also noted that Diddy was “explosive when she used drugs without him.”
During cross-examination by Diddy’s defense attorney, Anna Estevao, Cassie was asked about substances used during their sexual encounters. She clarified that there was “nothing added to the baby oil used in the freak-offs” and that it “was not laced with drugs.” This was a key moment, which put to rest a rampant social media rumor about the presence of spiked baby oil.
The testimony adds another layer to the growing legal and public scrutiny surrounding Diddy, highlighting not only alleged abuse but also a troubling pattern of substance use and volatility behind closed doors.
