A group of “protesters” stationed outside the federal courthouse during Diddy’s ongoing sex trafficking trial are reportedly being paid $20 an hour to wear “Free Diddy” t-shirts, but their presence may have less to do with justice and more with crypto.

According to content creator Emilie Hagen, who interviewed one woman outside the courthouse, promoters attempted to “recruit” her to wear the shirt. She confirmed the effort was largely tied to promoting “Diddy Coin,” a cryptocurrency that was allegedly quietly launched mid-trial.
While the scene might appear to show support for the embattled music mogul, it’s being criticized as a staged marketing tactic. It’s unknown who is funding this effort and who launched the so-called “Diddy Coin.”
No one from Diddy’s team has addressed the campaign, but the stunt has added a bizarre twist to the high-profile case. As legal proceedings continue, Diddy is preparing to face more testimony from Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard and several other witnesses. He is facing decades behind bars if convicted.
