Ye Demands $4 Million From Shopify After Yeezy Store Shutdown

Ye is once again at odds with e-commerce giant Shopify, claiming they’re holding $4 million after pulling the plug on his Yeezy merch store.

The fallout began after Ye’s Super Bowl ad, followed by the release of Swastika tees. Shopify removed the store, citing policy violations: “This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms.”

Spotify is just one of several companies to cut ties with Ye following his many offensive remarks and actions. Adidas, Balenciaga, and talent agency CAA are just a few corporations that publicly slammed the producer. He has recently apologized for his antisemitism views, though it doesn’t appear that his business ties are back intact.

Ye also followed up on Twitter with the question, “Just to put it in question form. Who do you think Shopify is ran by?”

Spotify has not publicly responded to Ye’s latest claim.
