Megan Thee Stallion Secures Gag Order Against Blogger Milagro Gramz in Defamation Lawsuit

Milagro Gramz just got hit with a gag order—yes, the same blogger Megan Thee Stallion is suing for defamation.

A federal judge officially told Milagro, whose real name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, to keep Megan’s name out of her mouth (and off her timeline) while the legal drama plays out.

On Wednesday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Lisette M. Reid laid it out clearly: “There’s an accusation that you defamed her,” Reid told Milagro directly. “So what I have to do as a judge in this case is at least contain the information that’s going around in social media from you right now on this case. And the plaintiff would be required to do the same. If she were posting about you or this case, that would be highly inappropriate as well.”

The order came after Megan’s legal team raised concerns about Milagro’s content, especially her comments surrounding Tory Lanez’s recent prison stabbing.

“It’s really getting out of hand,” said Megan’s attorney, Robert Schwartz. “What I’ve described is the least of it. It has taken itself to a more serious level. It rises potentially, at least in our judgment, to a level of incitement. There’s a real risk that people could act on the defendant’s statements.”

Milagro, who’s been representing herself, agreed to stop speaking on Megan or the Tory Lanez case for now. But Judge Reid also made sure the order applies across the board—no more “press conferences” or “media posts” from Milagro until further notice.

The legal drama started back in October when Megan filed the lawsuit, claiming Milagro was behind an online smear campaign.

“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” Megan said when the suit was first announced. “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior, and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”

Now, Milagro has until June 27th to find an attorney. If she doesn’t, she’ll be back in court solo.

Her deposition is set for July 1st, unless something changes.
