“Been at a loss for words for some days now,” he wrote. “And to think that I’ll ever have the words to describe the person you’ve been and the legacy that you left behind would be erroneous. Long live my sister Khadiyah Lewis.”

He continued, “You left behind a legacy most individuals can only dream of. Thank you for loving me the way you did and always having my back no matter what. God blessed me when he made me your baby brother, and for that, I am eternally thankful. You are forever on my mind and in my heart. I love you!”

Lewis first appeared on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” in Season 3 and returned for Season 4, where her relationship with rapper Joc became a central storyline. Their dynamic, both personal and professional, played out onscreen before Joc went on to marry castmate Kendra Robinson in 2021.

Outside of reality TV, Lewis was a driven entrepreneur. She described herself as a speaker, consultant, accountant, and brand ambassador. She ran multiple ventures, including a real estate investment firm and a tax consulting business.

Her obituary confirmed she passed on June 5th. A cause of death has not been released. Joc remembered Lewis, whom he refers to as “KD,” on his Streetz Morning Takeover show.

“She always had my back…she was a homegirl inside of the relationship too,” he stated.
