Apparently, She Voted for Herself and Still Got 0 Votes?— Now a Lawsuit’s Questioning the 2024 Election Results

2024 Election Lawsuit Questions Missing Votes in Rockland County

A 2024 U.S. Senate candidate allegedly received zero votes in several Rockland County districts—despite multiple voters swearing they picked her. Now, a new lawsuit is putting that glaring discrepancy under the legal microscope, raising deeper questions about the integrity of the 2024 presidential election and Donald Trump’s certified win.

SMART Legislation, the legal arm of nonpartisan group SMART Elections, filed a lawsuit after uncovering what they call statistically unlikely results and voter affidavits that don’t match the certified totals. The group’s founder, Lulu Friesdat, argues that the certified Senate results are provably wrong and says the presidential results also raise red flags.

The inconsistencies include districts where hundreds voted for Senate Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand, but not a single vote registered for Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate. The lawsuit also leans on data analysis from University of Alabama professor Max Bonamente, who noted that the vote patterns in four out of five Rockland County towns were statistically improbable when compared to 2020 results.

Even though the 2024 election is certified and Trump is officially president again, this lawsuit is demanding a full hand recount of all Senate and presidential ballots in Rockland County. A judge agreed the claims were serious enough for discovery to proceed. A court hearing is scheduled for September 22.

While legal experts say the anomalies aren’t enough to flip the state’s results, they believe investigating such inconsistencies is critical to maintaining election integrity. Critics argue this could re-stoke controversy around Trump’s win, especially with ongoing concerns about the ES&S voting machines used in 40 percent of U.S. counties.

And with the Pro V&V lab—which approved last-minute software changes before the election—allegedly going silent post-election, transparency advocates say public confidence is on the line.

Bottom line: the numbers aren’t adding up, and now the courts are involved.
