During Wednesday’s appearance on “The Breakfast Club,” the Atlanta rapper addressed all the talk about his chemistry with Long during their 2023 sit-down. Turns out, fans weren’t imagining things when they speculated that the Snow Man was flirting with the actress.
“They wasn’t lying,” Jeezy admitted when asked if he was trying to “holla” at Long. Both stars were newly single at the time, with Jeezy having separated from Jeannie Mai, and Long having parted ways with Ime Udoka.
Jeezy confessed that his feelings for Long were real, but explained he kept things respectful.
“That was a hard interaction,” he said, referencing his ongoing divorce during their interview. “I was trying to be respectful.”
He also doubled down on his previous viral quote during the interview: “Real men don’t cheat.”
“I’ve never cheated. That’s low-hanging fruit. If I’m locked in, I’m locked in. We ain’t got to be married. I’m just not a cheater. I’m not going to cheat my friends. That ain’t in my blood,” he explained.
While his relationship with Mai officially ended in 2024, Jeezy said he’s at peace with where things stand.
“I’m all about understanding. I’m all about what’s best for everybody, the greater good,” he shared. “I just want peace, I just want joy, and I just want freedom. I love my freedom.”
As for a future with Long, Jeezy said he’d “absolutely” circle back, and she’s “definitely invited” to his TM:101 20th Anniversary Tour.
