Kendrick Lamar brought the heat to Toronto, stepping into Drake’s territory and refusing to play it safe.

During the first of two sold-out nights at Rogers Centre on the Grand Central Tour, K. Dot performed his scathing diss track “Not Like Us” to an explosive crowd reaction. Fans were so hyped they chanted for an encore as the show closed out.
While Lamar lit up the stage, Drake had his own plans, until they didn’t happen. He and Twitch star Kai Cenat were set to co-host a livestream event that coincided exactly with Kendrick’s concert. But just before showtime, the duo pulled the plug and postponed the stream.
Cenat later confirmed the surprise move on his channel, revealing the livestream was supposed to feature Drake giving away hundreds of thousands in prizes as part of their “Somebody Loves Me” music video challenge.
With Drake’s livestream stalled and Kendrick’s performance igniting the city, the rivalry’s energy clearly took over Toronto.
