Peter Gunz isn’t letting his ex-wife Amina Buddafly’s viral housing video go unanswered.

After she revealed that she and their two daughters are now homeless and living in Germany, Peter jumped on Instagram to share his side.
“I send Amina thousands every month. Anything she asks for, I send,” Peter said during his livestream. He also claimed that he offered Amina his apartment in Dallas, but she allegedly turned it down. “She couldn’t hold her side of the sh*t up,” he added, making it clear he didn’t want to speak out but felt he had to this time. “I don’t usually talk like this anymore because we have kids, but I need to address it.”
Peter said it was Amina’s decision to leave L.A. and move to Germany to be with her family, a move he didn’t agree with. He expressed concern about how the relocation might affect her ability to return to the States, but says he stayed quiet to avoid adding stress.
His response came after Amina shared an emotional update online that quickly spread across social media. In her video, the former “Love & Hip Hop” star said she’s now staying with family overseas after losing her home.
“This is day one waking up in Germany after losing our home in L.A.,” she said. “We don’t have a home, y’all. Thank God for family—we’re here until I figure it out. And I will, like I always do. These last few years have been rough.”
She spoke openly about letting go of most of her belongings, saying it helped her refocus on what really matters. While Amina’s video came from a place of vulnerability and reflection, Peter’s response was firm and direct. The back-and-forth has fans split—some supporting Amina’s transparency, while others believe Peter had every right to defend himself if he’s been stepping up.
