After an eight-year hiatus, the limited-edition cookies are set to hit store shelves nationwide starting July 7th. Known for their unique twist, the Blueberry Pie Oreos feature tangy blueberry-flavored crème nestled between two graham cracker-flavored cookies. The flavor was last available in 2017 and has since gained near-legendary status among Oreo devotees.
The brand broke the news on June 26th via Instagram, sharing a playful video that begins with someone tossing a pack of the cookies on a kitchen counter. As the package is opened, the blueberry crème is revealed in all its glory. Oreo also highlighted fan posts from social media, where customers have been pleading for the flavor’s return.
“You win. Now please stop yelling at us. Blueberry Pie OREO Cookies BACK on shelves 7/7,” read the cheeky caption alongside a smiley face, pie, and blueberry emojis.
Fans wasted no time flooding the comment section. One user posted, “Omg I’ve been waiting for this for so long,” while another declared, “We winnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!”
Can’t wait until July 7th? Oreo is giving fans an early shot through a presale on its website starting June 30th. Those hoping to snag a pack early must register for presale access by June 29th and will be notified by email.
